James - Director/ Head Chef

James’s passion for food came whilst half way through a round the world trip. Cooking at a small cafe in Sydney to earn some extra cash to prolong his travels, his eyes were opened to the possibilities of a new career. On his return he undertook Cordon Bleu training at The Tante Marie School of Cookery. His talent and flair was quickly noticed by a top London Event Caterers who took him on. James spent the next few years cooking for clients and celebrities such as David and Victoria Beckham at their world cup party and McLaren F1 drivers Kimi Räikkönen and Juan Pablo Montoya. James crowning moment was to have had the opportunity to create a meal for HM Queen Elizabeth II on a visit she made to Guildford.

James experiences gave him the confidence to branch out and follow his own dreams of creating his own style. This decision paid off as he continued to impress high profile clients. From intimate private dinners for the likes of Margaret Thatcher and Elizabeth Hurley to being a personal chef for both Rowan Atkinson and Ron Dennis.

Jen - Director/ Event Organiser

Jen brings the style, quality and attention to detail that makes Kalm Kitchen so special. Her ability to visualise and develop a clients ideas of their perfect event is second to none and leaves no doubt that the service you will receive is personal, attentive and of the highest quality.

Jen trained as a Norland Nanny, leaving college with a distinction grade in childcare. The many years she spent bringing up various children has given her a vast knowledge of nutrition and nurturing as well as the creativity to make food fun for all ages.

Josy - PR and Marketing

Josy is a self confessed Jack of all Trades.  A start in fashion retail led on to fast paced product and advertising sales before she settled for 6 yrs in the fashion industry promoting the careers of male models and hair and makeup artists. Itchy feet prompted her to pack her bags and head off around the world making her way as a scuba diving divemaster, artisan and most interestingly a children’s entertainer dressed as a fairy! Josy is a stickler for excellent customer service and her fresh positive approach and wealth of different experiences makes her the ideal candidate to get the Kalm Kitchen name out there.
